On Tuesday, October 7, Cricket Ireland (CI) announced testing and T20I squads of the Ireland National Cricket Team for the upcoming Bangladesh Tour.
Bangladesh’s Ireland Tour includes a two-match Test series and a three-match T20I series, which will be played in Silhat, Dhaka and Chatogra.
Andrew Balbirni and Paul Sterling to lead Ireland
The upcoming matches between Ireland and Bungalow Tigers will be played in November-December, and the last time the Irish team traveled to Bangladesh was in 2023.
Silhat will host the Test before November 11, and Dhaka will host the second match from November 19. Overall, Irishman has played 10 Test matches, winning three of them.
Meanwhile, the T20I matches between the teams will be played on November 27, 29 and 2 December in Chatogram and Dhaka.
Andrew Balbirni will lead a strong testing side, including four newcomers in CAD CARMICAL, Liam Macarthi, Jordan Neel and Stephen Doheni. In addition, the uncapricated player Gavin Hoi has been nominated in the squad.
