Rana’s primary role is to provide the much-needed strength to the middle-order that DC is looking for in the upcoming season, bringing in an experienced Indian core player into the batting lineup. He is a highly experienced IPL campaigner, having featured in a total of 118 league matches in his career before this latest move.
