Prafulla Hinge: SRH’s new hero

The budding player’s journey to IPL stardom is a testament to his hard work in domestic cricket. Vidarbha right-arm fast bowler Hinge has been signed by SRH at his base price of Rs 30 lakh. He made his senior debut in all formats in the 2024–25 season and impressed in red-ball cricket, taking 27 wickets at an average of 26.66 in just 10 first-class matches. His limited T20 appearances include only one appearance, where he took one wicket.

Hinge has been carefully prepared for the big stage. He has been training at the MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai since 2022 and participated in a 15-day camp in Brisbane in 2024. His debut on Monday was particularly good as he was not given a chance in the previous game against Punjab Kings despite being named in the playing XI at the toss.
