IPL 2026 final shifted to Narendra Modi Stadium
While Ahmedabad has been finalized for the title clash, Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium has been left out of the race due to a ticket dispute, reports a Jagran News journalist.
This means that defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will not be able to play the IPL 2026 final on their home ground despite qualifying.

After the ticket controversy involving MLAs, it has been decided to move the final away from Bengaluru.
As per the latest plan, Qualifier 1 will be held in Dharamshala, while both the Eliminator and Qualifier 2 matches are scheduled to be played at Mullanpur, the home ground of Punjab Kings (PBSK).
