Former West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle expressed enthusiasm about reunioning Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers with colleagues with former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Gayle said that the three will be reunited in the legends world championship and some fans would be enjoyed.

Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers were included in the RCB Hall of Fame in 2022. Gayle scored 3,163 runs in 84 matches for the franchise, while de Villiers scored 4,491 runs in 144 innings. Despite their impressive performance, the two failed to secure the IPL title with Royal Challengers during their stents.

Gayle said, “Virat is an unprecedented player. We have spent both on the field and outside. He is a true legend of the game, and we miss him a lot in international cricket,” Gayle said.

“This will be something special. Fans will like it,” Gayle said about Kohli’s possibility of joining the Legend League.

“I promise you that it seems 10 times more special because both of these are standing next to me. Honestly, it is as me as it is mine. When you come to Bengaluru, it is not just me; when they come, people love them and they are absolutely barred,” said Virat.

He said, “They know, and they appreciate that they have given their heart and soul to this team until they played here. These two people have given everything, so it is equally,” he said.

RCB’s historical campaign due to which his first IPL was titled

Royal Challengers Bangalore ended their long wait for an IPL title with a memorable campaign in 2025. After years of near Mrs., the team played cricket continuously throughout the tournament to complete their first championship.

RCB finished second with nine wins in the league stage and 19 points in 14 matches. He made history by becoming the only team to win all his seven fixtures in the same season.

The Bangalore -based team beat Punjab Kings (PBK) with an eight -wicket win in the first qualifier, which led to a direct entering the final. This was his fourth attendance in the IPL final after finishing the runner-up in 2009, 2011 and 2016.

RCB held its nerve and scored six runs at the summit. He dried the 18 -year title and added a championship in his name.
