Former Pakistan bowler Shabbir Ahmed created a controversy after India’s six -run win over England in the fifth and final Test match at Oval in London. Shabbir accused the team headed by Shubman Gill of ball-trampling, alleging that India used Vaseline to keep the ball unnaturally shiny even after 80 overs.
India defended 374 and leveled the series 2–2 in the final test at the Oval on Monday, 4 August. Fast bowlers Mohammad Siraj and Prasad Krishna triggered late collapse as England decreased despite being well in their chase. In particular, the visiting team chose not to take a new ball after 80 overs.

Mohammad Sirraj Instrumental in India’s stunning victory in the Oval Test
England resumed their pursuit which required just 35 runs with four wickets in hand, but visitors staged a dramatic return to protect the target.
Mohammad Siraj took three wickets on the last day to complete the five -wicket race. He finished the match with a total of nine wickets, including four in the first innings, and 23 scales emerged as the lead wickets of the series.
Prasad Krishna also played an important role in victory, took an important wicket in the last day and was returning with 4/126 figures. He ended the series with 14 wickets in three matches.
India won 336 runs in the second Test in Edgbaston and managed to attract the fourth Test in Manchester. Visitors lost the match at Leeds and Lords.

Shabbir Ahmed played for the Pakistan National Cricket Team between 1999 and 2007. Former right-arm fast bowler depicted 10 Test matches, 32 Odis and a T20I, with a total of 84 wickets in three forms of the game.
His international career was interrupted by controversy when he became the first bowler to be banned for 12 months due to a suspected bowling action. The University of Western Australia found its action illegal, which led to a suspension, which was later removed in December 2006.
After his return, Shabbir now joined the Indian Cricket League (ICL), where he represented Chennai’s superstar. He left an impression in the league by hat -trick in the final, which helped in the Chennai Clinic Championship. Pacer was last played for Pakistan in a T20I match against South Africa.
