Yashasvi Jaiswal’s education under Rohit Sharma
From his first test, Jaiswal found more than just one batting partner in Rohit. They scored 1,269 runs together in 28 innings, with a flare combination. Beyond those numbers, Jaiswal credited Rohit to establish mental cruelty and technical purification.
According to Jaiswal, the support from Rohit’s field only matters as much. Pep talk and honest response to the tour during net sessions helped them to remove doubts and handle pressure on the first visits. Rohit’s dedication to the routine also left a deep impression. This mixture of technical insight and personal guidance, he believes, tested his readiness rapidly for cricket.
“I really enjoy being with Rohit Bhai. He has taught me a lot and helped me to develop both mentally and overall. He is really a wonderful person. When you are around him or talk to him, you learn a lot, in fact, just looking at him, you can learn a lot, you can learn a lot,” Jaiswal said.
Laugh and lesson with Virat Kohli
While Rohit played the role of the guiding elder brother, Kohli brought energy and humor in every dressing room. They scored 361 runs together in ten innings, performing aggression with strategy. Jaiswal described Kohli as the team’s morale booster, always ready with a funny comment even in stressful moments. Although Jaiswal tries to find a humor herself, he believes that Kohli’s razor-sharp intellect takes it to another level.
Beyond laughter, the morality and fitness standards of Kohli’s work have affected Jaiswal’s own view. The young man noticed how Kohli balances intensity with heat, creating an environment where severe drills and mild moments co -existence. This balance, Jaiswal, has taught them about leadership and teamwork.
“Paaji is amazing, really strong. I have batted with him many times. He is very funny, and he is really funny. If you spend time with him, you just keep laughing, it’s completely a different level. If he tells you something about someone, he will explain it completely – it is very attractive. It is very attractive. Jaiswal said.
As Rohit and Kohli retired from tests in May 2025, Jaiswal’s reflections underlined the heritage, leaving behind these legends. Through mentorship, skill development and an enthusiastic dressing room culture, they have prepared the next generation. Team India’s excellent tradition appears well safely, ready to carry mental with talents like Jaswal.
