Former Sri Lankan international Shehan Jayasuriya included in the team, Indians and Pakistanis will play together
USA selectors have included Shehan Jayasuriya in the squad. The 34-year-old left-hander previously played international cricket for Sri Lanka and most recently featured in the Sri Lankan domestic first-class season for Panadura Sports Club.
Jayasuriya was not part of the 2025 Major League Cricket squad, but received the selection after his recent performances. USA head coach Pubudu Dassanayake supported Jayasuriya’s inclusion, saying his experience and familiarity with local conditions played a key role in the decision.
