The state of Maharashtra is plunged into deep mourning after the shocking news of the untimely demise of the Deputy Chief Minister on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Ajit Pawar. The veteran leader popularly known as ‘Dada’ passed away in a tragic plane crash near Baramati. The incident occurred around 8:45 am when their chartered Learjet 45, traveling from Mumbai, encountered technical difficulties and caught fire while attempting to land.
