Shreyas Iyer is the leading run-scorer for Team India in the 2025 Champions Trophy
Shreyas Iyer played an important role for Team India during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He was the top run-scorer with 243 runs at an average of 48.60 in five innings, including two half-centuries.
Iyer has consistently performed well for India in major tournaments, scoring 530 runs at an impressive average of 66.25 with two centuries and three fifties in 11 innings during the 2023 ODI World Cup.
Before the current match, he had scored 2,845 runs in 70 ODIs at an average of 48.22, which included five centuries and 22 fifties. Iyer will need to perform well when India take on Australia in the second match of the three-match ODI series at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday, October 23.
