India put in an impressive performance to defeat England clinched their record-extending sixth title, winning by 100 runs in the final of the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2026. England’s chase falters despite resistance from Caleb Faulkner

Facing a tough target of 412 runs, England needed to chase almost the exact target, but they immediately came under pressure due to India’s aggressive bowling. Early wickets set them back, although Ben Dawkins and Ben Mayes showed intent on a fast start.

The standout effort came from Caleb Faulkner, who displayed strength and flexibility in the middle order with a brilliant innings of 115. However, due to the regular falling out of partners, his efforts ultimately went in vain.
