According to a report in IANS, the match between India and Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2026 will take place as planned on Sunday, February 15 in Colombo. Talks are ongoing to settle the remaining details, and officials are close to finalizing the fixture arrangements between the rivals.
Earlier, PCB had told ICC that it cannot play the match against India after receiving instructions from the Pakistan government. The PCB cited the force majeure clause to justify its decision, but the ICC did not accept the explanation and asked the board whether the clause applied to the current situation.

The India-Pakistan match in the T20 World Cup 2026 is likely to be held on February 15, with officials actively working to finalize the preparations. According to IANS, meetings are going on now and there is a 99 percent chance that there will be a clash.
“Meetings are going on and there is a 99% chance that the India-Pakistan match will take place on February 15,” Pakistan Cricket Board sources told IANS.
