India, on Sunday (October 5), to start its victory in the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, scoring 88 runs to Pakistan.

To bat first, India scored 247 runs in 50 overs. Harlen Deol was the top scorer for the team, scoring 46 runs, while Richa Ghosh’s unbeaten knock out of 20 balls helped to post a 240-plus total to the side. India made a good start with Smriti Madhana and Pratika Rawal, with 48 runs for the initial wicket.

India then reduced Pakistan to 102/5 with two quick wickets to reduce Pakistan. He was at 143/5 in a phase before losing his last five wickets for just 16 runs. For India, Kranti Gaud and Deepti took 3 wickets in each.
India maintains an unbeaten record against Pakistan
This victory also extended India’s unbeaten run against Pakistan in the 50 -over format. India has now won all 12 matches played against Pakistan. Those 12 matches also include five matches in the Women’s World Cup.
