The fifth and final T20 match between India and Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane came to an abrupt halt due to lightning near the stadium on Saturday (November 8).

Only 4.5 overs of play was possible when the game had to be stopped immediately due to lightning. Within moments the atmosphere at Gabba went from tense to tense.

In the India vs Australia fifth T20 match in Brisbane, players had to leave the field due to lightning due to which the game was stopped.

After the unexpected incident, India and Australia players immediately walked off the field and went straight to their dressing rooms for safety in Brisbane.
