Young opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi suffered a minor injury after being hit by a ball on his chest during the net session before the third T20 match between India and England. The 15-year-old cricketer stopped training for a while to receive medical attention before returning to complete his batting practice.
Suryavanshi is expected to retain his place at the top of the order in the third T20I to be played at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on Tuesday, July 7. India trail 0-1 in the five-match series and need a win to level the score after failing to defend 190 in the second T20I, where the teenager made his international debut.

The youngster immediately walked out of the nets and received treatment from the team doctor and strength and conditioning coach. After a short break and medical checkup, Suryavanshi returned to the nets and completed his batting session, shrugging off serious injury concerns.
