Team India’s assistant coach Ryan Ten Dotk has praised England captain Ben Stokes for bowling for a long time on the last day of the third Test at Lord’s. Ten Dotk also refused to compare Stokes’ super impressive performance with Jasprit Bumrah’s workload management.
Ben Stokes bowled 44 overs in both innings and took five wickets in the third Test at Lord’s. He gave 9.2 over spell in the last morning. Ben Stokes has fought with injuries throughout his career, including recent hamstring surgery in January. Ryan Ten Dotk supported the Indian team’s strategy amid comparison between Stokes and Bumrah.

India is considering the Jasprit Bumrah in the XI playing for the important fourth test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, as they aim to level the five-match series. The visiting team is currently lagging behind 1-2 after losing the match at Headingly and Lords.
Bumrah has been in excellent form, taking 12 wickets out of just two tests at an average of 21. Pesar recorded 5/83 in Handingley and 5/74 in Lord’s.
