Young Indian batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi turned 15 on March 27. The junior Indian cricketer has now been promoted to the age where he can be available to play for the senior Indian national cricket team.

RCB batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi named ‘Baby Hulk’

India A captain Jitesh Sharma led the Indian team when the team went to Qatar to play in the ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup and played alongside Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the team. A very friendly relationship has developed between the two cricketers.

When asked about Suryavanshi’s immense strength and his incredible power with which he effortlessly dominates the game, the RCB player commented that the southpaw is a massive six-hitter and credited his wrists for generating so much power.

“It’s all natural power; he’s very strong. His wrists are bigger than mine – I gave him my watch to wear, and it was tight for him,” the wicketkeeper said, before elaborating on what that kind of power can do.

“Chhota Hulk hai woh (He’s Baby Hulk),” Jitesh said, referencing the Marvel Comics character.

Having played only 7 matches last season, they will be considered for the full season in this edition of the competition. He will have a big responsibility to replace Sanju Samson.

However, Jitesh believes that Vaibhav Suryavanshi has created fear in the hearts of the bowlers with his fearless hitting. He also compared the Indian youngster to West Indies big-hitter Nicholas Pooran.

Jitesh Sharma said, “He has created this fear. He is like Nicholas Pooran, lefty-lefty, very hard hitter. You fear he might hit you.” He claimed that teams will have to come up with new plans and strategies to counter the left-handed batsman.
