1. The Indian cricket team has not only crushed England, but has also entered record books with a rare achievement which was achieved by only one team before them. With its commanding win, India became only the second team in Test history to score more than 1000 runs in both innings and take all 20 opposition wickets in the same match.

The only other team before India was Australia to do this. The Australian cricket team scored more than 1000 runs in both innings and took all 20 wickets in the same match against England in 1938 and then in 1969 against the West Indies at SCG.

2. He has scored more than 1000 runs in a single Test match for the first time in Indian cricket history.India has become the sixth team to achieve milestones in Test cricket. Prior to India, England (1930), Australia (1934 and 1969), Pakistan (2006), and South Africa (1939) did the same.
