Shreyas Iyer is the leading India A
The right -handed batsman recently received a major setback when he was not selected in the India Squad for the ongoing Asia Cup. Even after impressed as Captain and a batsman in this year’s IPL, where he took Punjab Kings to the finals, Iyer failed to find a place in the Indian team.
He would be desperate to create a large impact with a series in the upcoming India -e -Australia, which is a series to influence the selectors. A good performance against India can also put him in a dispute in the Indian Test team for the upcoming home Test series against the West Indies and South Africa.
India A Squad also has many experienced players such as Abhimanyu Ishvaran and Devdutt Padikkal. Ezavaran was a part of the India Test Squad for the tour of England earlier this year, while Padikkal last year played the Test during the Australia Tour last year.
A squad in India has also been named Nitish Kumar Reddy and Dhruv Jurael. Both players were in the Indian team for the tour of England. Reddy was hurt during the series, but is now completely cured for the series of India A vs Australia. On the other hand, Jurall is named by-captain for the series.
