1952 – Rain saves days against England
India’s first Independence Day outing came in an exam against England, which was played from 14–19 August. After ending in a draw, the rain washed the game a lot.
2001 – Shameful defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka
Fifty years later, India faced Sri Lanka and lost a huge defeat while losing by 10 wickets in Galle.
2014 and 2015-Back-to-back setback
In 2014, England defeated India by an innings and 244 runs. The following year, Sri Lanka damaged India by 64 runs in a test.
2019 – Virat Kohli’s Century Seal OD Glory
Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 114 burnt the port of Spain, directed India to win a six -wicket win over the West Indies and sealed the series in style.
2021 – Lord’s Test Hiriks
India’s most recent August 15 August match gave one of their biggest win. At Lord’s, KL Rahul’s ton set the stage, but it was Jasprit Bumrah And Mohammed Shami’s gritty changed the stand for the final wicket for 70 runs. India’s bowlers skit to win England for 120 to win a famous 151 runs for 120.
