BCCI adds Gill’s backup for Guwahati Test

Gill is suffering from intense neck pain and has been advised three to four days’ rest, which also includes avoiding flights and missing Tuesday’s optional training session in Kolkata. According to the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) official, he will have to wear a cervical collar.

“He [Gill] There is severe neck pain, and we are not allowed to give further details about the injury. She will have to continue wearing the C,” CAB source told news agency PTI. “He has been advised to take rest for three-four days and not to fly.
