Asia Cup 2025 Super 4S conflict between India and Pakistan Dubai was already one of the most anticipated fixtures of the tournament at the International Stadium. But beyond cricket, it was fast bowler Haris Rauf, who made headlines for all wrong reasons.
“Kohli Kohli” mantras triggered a hot response from Haris Rauf
The Pakistani Pacer became the center of controversy when the crowd repeatedly chased “Kohli Kohli” under his direction, reminiscent of Virat Kohli’s famous straight sixes during the 2022 T20 World Cup.
First, Rauf tried to play it cool, caressing his ear in such a way that the mantras ignored. However, after the moments he stimulated, he pointed like a crashed fighter jet before shining the 6–0 hand signal. The gesture, widely explained as a reference to the unbalanced claim of demolishing six Indian jets during a previous military face of Pakistan, was immediately criticized as an unseedportsman.
While Rauf bowled with his normal speed and aggression, his actions were talking about the night. Instead of being remembered for his performance with the ball, the fighter jet gesture went viral and fuel the online hot debate. Many people realized that the bowler crossed a line by combining political symbolism with the game, especially in a rivalry that is already immersed in emotions.

Haris Rauf fans teasing “Kohli Kohli”, but his nonsense behavior proves him to be the biggest pranks.

India’s openers won commanding against Pakistan
On the field, however, it was India who again stamped its staunch rivals on its dominance. Chasing 172 for Vijay, India’s openers Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill shared a sensational 105 -run partnership to keep the defending champion under full control. Sharma was aggressive, scoring 74 off just 39 balls, while Gill played a 54 -composed knock. His stand effectively killed Pakistan’s expectations, establishing a platform for one. Spare for winning six-cicat with seven balls,
India’s depth of batting proved to be decisive once again, as he peacefully talked about Pakistan’s late fightback efforts. This victory marked India’s second victory over Pakistan in this edition of the Asia Cup, strengthening its position as a favorite of the tournament.
Earlier, Pakistan posted 171/5 after being asked to bat first. The innings promised when Sahibzada Farhan (58 scored 45) and Sam Ayub (21) added 72 runs for the second wicket, steering the team on half a stage from 91/1. But India’s bowlers tightened their grip, drying boundaries for six overs. The wickets of Ayub, Hussain Talat and Farhan in quick succession stopped speed.
Late contribution to captain Salman Ali Aga (17 not 13) and Faheem Ashraf (20 not out by 8) added some honors in the clan. Nevertheless, against India’s powerful batting order, the target proved inadequate.
