Suryansh Shedge helped Punjab Kings seal a spectacular win as he hit some big sixes off Mitchell Starc after the Australian hit two sixes in the 19th over of the game.
Delhi Capitals made several changes to their team, especially in the bowling attack, as they dropped two experienced players in Natarajan and Kuldeep Yadav from the DC lineup. They backed some young players like Madhav Tiwary and Auqib Dar and the move worked out really well.
Suryansh Shedge hit a skyscraper six of 100 meters off Mitchell Starc.
Mitchell Starc returned with the final over of the innings and took two wickets in the first two balls, dismissing Marcus Stoinis and Shashank Singh on consecutive balls. However, after being dismissed, Starc was on a hat-trick and decided to play the short ball.
Suryansh Shedge was the new batsman at the crease who hit a six over the long-on region and that was the beginning of the carnage. Displaying excellent batting in the death overs, he smashed the next ball over the fence.
On the final ball of Starc’s over, he took a ball just below his eyes and smashed it for a six over the deep mid-wicket region. The distance meter measured 100 meters and young Shedge was busy cultivating the aura after defeating one of the greatest fast bowlers of this generation.
