Former Pakistan captain and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is currently in jail, has criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after the team’s loss to India in the ongoing Asia Cup. Khan suggested that only harsh changes can help Pakistan compete against men in blue in future matches.

Imran Khan brutally made fun of Pakistan Cricket Board President Mohsin Naqvi and army chief Asim Munir after the team’s loss against India. Speaking to reporters on Monday, Khan’s sister, Alima Khan revealed that her brother proposed a scenario for Pakistan to defeat India in cricket.
According to the news agency PTI, the former fast bowler suggested that the way the team could win is with Asim Munir and Mohsin Naqvi opening the batting.
Imran Khan also recommended that Pakistan Kazi Phase, former Chief Justice and Chief Election Commissioner of Jesus, Sikander Sultan Raja should act as on-field umpires. His comment was a satirical on the current status of Pakistan cricket.

PCB and Asian Cricket Council chief Mohsin Naqvi faced intensive investigation following the team’s poor performance and disputes around the ICC.
Players from India and Pakistan refrained the handshake and Super 4 matches in group stage and Super 4 matches during the Asia Cup 2025 after a military conflict between two nuclear-host neighbors in May.
The PCB requested the removal of the match referee Andy Pycroft and threatened to boycott the tournament if he remained, but the ICC dismissed its demand, forcing Pakistan to continue in the competition.
