Famous 20 -year -old Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batsman Swastik Chikara revealed his personal chat with Virat Kohli, which he did during his tenure in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Swastik Chikara revealed that Virat Kohli clearly told him that he would never play as ‘Impact Player’ in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and would continue to play like a lion.

Born on 3 April 2005 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Chikara gained fame and popularity during his first term with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL 2025.

He was purchased by the IPL 2025 champion at the mega auction for INR 30 lakh, which was his base value. During the season, he had calls to include him to play, but was placed on the bench and was happy to help his peers when needed in the drink break.
Despite not playing any match, he became popular with madness and attracted a lot of attention to Virat Kohli due to his visible appreciation.
In the viral social media clip, he was mostly seen around Kohli and showed his excitement about being in a camp similar to India’s legend. His attractive personality noticed that his Instagram followers shot up to 1 million in no time.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Revsports journalist Rohit Juggalan, he was asked if Kohli was considering retirement during IPL 2025, because through the tournament, he said goodbye to test cricket.
Swastik Chikara said, “My passb kuch nahhi thinking rahe di aisa woh (Virat Kohli). (According to me, he (Virat Kohli) was not thinking about anything like this),” when asked whether Virat Kohli was thinking about retirement during the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Swastik Chikara revealed that during a conversation with Kohli, the legendary batsman told him that he would never play as an impact player in the IPL and would like to field for 20 overs with batting. He said:

Chikara further revealed that the conversation took place with Kohli during a gym session, where the former RCB captain clarified that he would play like a lion, and he would retire when he would be unable for 20 overs, he would retire. Swastik Chikara said:
