Former Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim’s ex-wife Sania Ashfaq has publicly shared her emotional WhatsApp chat after their divorce and appealed for help. Sania also accused Imad of forcing her to undergo an abortion and urged Islamabad United and Mohsin Naqvi to intervene and resolve her allegations.
Imad Wasim announced his second marriage with Sania Ashfaq earlier this week, just two months after getting divorced. The former Pakistan cricketer shared on social media that he has married influencer Naila Raja, adding that the decision was made with the “clear intention to build a life rooted in peace, stability and mutual respect”.

In her first public post, Sania Ashfaq recently shared an image from the Pakistan Super League auction, where Islamabad United signed Imad Wasim for PKR 2.2 crore (Rs 71.38 lakh).
She alleged that Imad Wasim had forced her to undergo an abortion in Lahore in December 2023. Ashfaq appealed to the fans to boycott Islamabad United for electing him and said that a player facing such allegations should not be given the platform.
The post read, “In December 2023, he aborted my child in Lahore. He is a murderer and I have a video that proves it. He cheated on me. @islamadaunitedpsl has given a chance to a murderer and a fraudster. #boycottislamadaunited No fraudster or murderer should go unpunished.”
Sania Ashfaq appeals to Mohsin Naqvi and Shahbaz Sharif over allegations against Imad Wasim
Sania Ashfaq, who divorced Imad Wasim in December 2025, shared a video on Wednesday. Ashfaq said that the forced abortion in December 2023 caused severe physical and emotional trauma and added that she did not receive any support from the cricketer during that period.
“With great courage, I am recording this video because I not only want the truth but also justice for my children. I was forced to have an abortion in December 2023.”
She said, “This was not my choice and it caused severe physical and emotional trauma. During this difficult time, when I needed support most, I faced disbelief. I have all the evidence to support this.”
She appealed to Islamabad United to review her claims and requested intervention from Mohsin Naqvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for proper investigation and accountability so that no other woman has to face similar pain.
“After losing my child, I received no support. Whenever I mustered the courage to raise my voice, I was silenced and negative campaigns were launched against me on social media. I want to make it clear that I am doing this only for my children. I want justice for them.”
“I request that Islamabad United seriously review this matter and take appropriate action. I also request Shehbaz Sharif and Mohsin Naqvi to look into this and ensure proper investigation. I want respect, not revenge. I hope that my voice will be heard, and no other woman or mother will have to go through this pain in the future.”

In a third post shared late on Wednesday night, Sania Ashfaq released screenshots of WhatsApp messages to support her claims against Imad Wasim. She said Waseem warned her not to contact him again and said he would take legal action.
“He says I keep his kids away from him… But when I was pregnant, holding his child, tired, emotional and vulnerable, I reached out to him. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable.”
She wrote, “I simply asked him to come and see his unborn son, to be there, to care, to show a little love to the life growing inside me. And instead of support, instead of concern, he threatened me. He said that if I contacted him again, he would file a case of harassment against me while I was carrying his child.”
