After the inauguration of the auction of ILT20 players held on 1 October 2025, all six franchises have finalized their squads for the fourth season with a mixture of international stars, emerging UAE talent and promising associate nation players.
IPL auction season 4 retention and surprise
Retant as Andre RussellSunil Narin (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders), Johnson Charles, Tim Southee (Sharjah Warrier) and Dasun Shanaka (Dubai Capital) ensured that experienced campaigners remained with their franchisees.
The biggest surprise, despite being the highest base price player, was Ravichandran Ashwin’s unsold position.
The auction budget was tightly managed, in which franchisees focused on squad balance, regional talent inclusion and versatile T20 experts.
The upcoming season of ILT20 will begin on December 2, 2025, and end on January 4, 2026.
