Pakistani fast bowler Ihsanullah claimed the dismissal of Indian batsman Abhishek Sharma within 3 balls of the very first over bowled by the ICC No. 1 T20I batsman. Now, former Pakistani fast bowler Tanvir Ahmed has trolled the fast bowler for his audacious comment.

Pakistan’s forgotten fast bowler Ihsanullah had openly challenged Indian batsman Abhishek Sharma after the Indian opener gave a crushing defeat to Pakistan during the Asia Cup. He claimed to have dismissed the batsman within the first three balls of an over.

Ihsanullah trolled by Tanveer Ahmed asked to play domestic cricket first

Not taking Ihsanullah’s claims seriously, Tanveer Ahmed, a guest on a Pakistani show, poked fun at the fast bowler and called his claim foolish, especially when he himself is not fit and is not even playing in Pakistan’s domestic tournaments.

“I saw that video and was shocked by it. When you (Ihsanullah) are not even playing domestic cricket and are ineligible for the game, what is the point of making claims that can never turn into reality?”

Tanveer Ahmed commented on the show, “There is no credibility in making claims like ‘I will get Abhishek Sharma out within 3 balls’ even if you are playing international cricket.” He defeated this fast bowler with harsh reality.

“Even Wasim Akram can never tell; I’ll get Adam Gilchrist or Matthew Hayden out in 3 balls” – Tanvir Ahmed

In an attempt to prove his point, Tanvir Ahmed took aim at former Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram, who is considered one of the greatest fast bowlers in the world. He further said that even great fast bowlers cannot make such bold claims, as cricket is a game of execution.

He commented, “Even Wasim Akram cannot guarantee that he will dismiss Adam Gilchrist or Matthew Hayden within 3 balls or any specified number of balls.”

He said, “You never really know before you go out and bowl to a batsman. Maybe once you bowl to him, he troubles you for runs. I am giving an open challenge to any cricketer, no matter how big a player he is in the world, to get the batsman out by mentioning the number of balls in advance.”

Abhishek Sharma’s weakness revealed!

As the show presenter further explained, “Maybe Ihsanullah has noticed some weakness in Abhishek’s batting. Have you noticed any weakness in his batting where he can be deceived and hence get out during the match?”

Tanveer Ahmed immediately replied, “Yes, every cricketer has his own weaknesses. As we have discussed earlier, Abhishek Sharma’s weakness lies in the balls that are bowled in and around the ‘good’ length region.”

“However, despite that length, one cannot specify when one can get him out. What if the ball does not swing or seam the way it wants to after being pitched at a good length?” The player took a direct dig at Ihsanullah for making the thoughtless claim which, according to him, tarnishes his image and makes him a laughing stock on social media.
