India National Cricket Team and England National Cricket Team earned important ICC World Test Championship points after attracting the fourth Test match of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025.
The fourth test of the five -match series between India -led India and Ben Stokes -led England began on July 23 at Old Trafford, Manchester.

England dominate with bat
When England had a turn to bat, they were completely dominated and set their places on batting only once in the match. Openers Zak Crolly (84) and Ben Docket (94) scored at a great strike rate and clearly saw the visitors.
Indian bowlers bowled some poor lines and lengths and got a brutal punishment for it. After the opener went out, Joe Root made a historic knock of 150 runs, which made him the second leading run-song in Test history, while Oli Pope scored 71 runs.
Meanwhile, the most eye-catching knock of the innings came with Ben Stokes’s bat as the English skipper scored 141 runs and operated his team on a huge score of 669 with a 311-r lead.
Then, in the third innings, India started a bad dream with Chris Woakes in the first over to reduce visitors by 0/2 to reject Yashsvi Jaiswal and Sai Reformson. However, Shubman Gill and KL Rahul inspired India to recover with their half -century, and at the end of the day 4, they were at 174/2.
5 days, Gill (103) slammed an excellent ton, and Rahul ended with a score of 90 runs. After that, Ravindra Jadeja (107*) and Washington Sundar (101*) performed a batting masterclass to carry India to 425/4, and the match ended in a draw.
