The West Indies have suffered a massive shock before their three -match ODI series against Pakistan, starting in Taraba on Friday, August 8. Young pace bowler Matthew Ford has been dropped from an ODE series of the house after disliked his shoulder while trying to take a catch during an exercise session on Wednesday, August 6.

Meanwhile, Windies coach Daren Sammy saw the upcoming ODI series against Pakistan as an important step towards the 2027 ODI World Cup qualification. Former World Cup winning captain team is aiming to promote the ranking, creating a winning mentality.
