The International Cricket Council on June 18 took disciplinary action against Scotland batsman Ailsa Lister following her team’s Group B match against the West Indies in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.

ICC reprimands Scotland’s Ailsa Lister after clash with West Indies
On Saturday, June 20, the ICC has officially reprimanded the Scottish cricketer for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct. Along with the reprimand, one demerit point was also added to Lister’s disciplinary record. This was his first offense in a period of 24 months.
The ICC confirmed that Lister had been found to have breached Article 2.2 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “misuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an international match”.
