In a major development, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has worked hard on the Zimbabwe Cricketer and handed him a suspension.
On Wednesday, August 27, the International Cricket Council (ICC) issued an official statement, confirming that Zimbabwe women’s national cricket team all -rounder Kelis Nedlovu was suspended from bowling in international cricket.

The ICC further stated that the suspension on Zimbabwe all -rounder Kelis Nadlovu will remain until it re -evaluates and does not legally change his bowling action. ICC said:
“According to Article 6.1 of the bowling rules, the suspension of Ndhlovu will remain until he presents for a re -evaluation of his bowling action, which confirms that she can bowl without using an illegal bending action.”
She has played 13 Odis and 51 T20Is for the Zimbabwe Women’s National Cricket Team, scored 192 and 822 and took 19 and 44 wickets. Kelis Nedlovu led the Zimbabwe U19 side during the inauguration of the ICC women’s Under -19 T20 World Cup in 2023.

In another development, the Ireland Women’s National Cricket Team and the Netherlands Women’s National Cricket Team officially qualified for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 qualifier.
