Former opener Virender Sehwag recently recalled an incident with Team India’s head coach Greg Chappell during his play days. Sehwag said that Chapel criticized his batting technique during a thick patch in his career, stating that the then skipper Rahul Dravid intervened to stop the confrontation.
Greg Chappell served as India’s head coach from May 2005 to March 2007. Men faced controversies in Blue, including clashes with the then Captain Sourav Ganguly during Chapel’s tenure. Chappell ended his term on a low note with India in the group stage of the 2007 ODI World Cup.
