Ashwin said, “Surely I will not play anywhere and everywhere for 10 months. Whatever the requirements of each team and the people I satisfy, I will play in the leagues. I have already registered for one of the leagues and so let us see how it is out.”
Ashwin expanded in detail on the driving force behind his decision, which is to find the pure bliss of the game again. “It is fun to play outside India worldwide because no one knows who you are. You can enjoy it well. The bowling without any pressure will make the ball almost completely on the spot and even if it’s not, it’s fine because I will enjoy playing with joy in the end. I want to play on the global stage.

Personal philosophy of Ashwin: Living life on your own terms
Beyond his professional ambitions, Ashwin also opened his personal philosophy, revealing his desire to live his life on his terms. While reflecting his life and career, Ashwin said, “My point is that I want to live my life on my terms for my happiness. As long as I hurt someone and perhaps some help, it gives more happiness as achievements on the cricketing sector. Playing cricket and touching life, balanced the needs of family, is the last challenge of life at this stage. Therefore, I am trying to look at these parameters.”
