Tribute in honor of the victims

Such decisions highlight the governing body’s desire to connect cricket events with broader national sentiment and sympathy.
Although the opening ceremony has been cancelled, preparations for the tournament continue in full swing. BCCI has already announced the schedule of IPL 2026 phase two, which means that the complete schedule of the league phase is now available to the public. Details regarding the playoffs are expected to be released in due course.
