Chennai Super Kings have reportedly identified former Indian batsman Hemang Badani as the prime candidate to replace Stephen Fleming as the head coach of the franchise. This development comes soon after CSK and Fleming agreed to end their 18-year partnership by mutual consent, bringing to an end one of the most successful coach-franchise associations in IPL history.
The move comes at a crucial time as the franchise has plenty of time to revamp its coaching set-up, ahead of the IPL 2027 season and player auction.
