Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) controversially broke the dangerous partnership of Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batsmen did not seem happy at all with this decision. Was that catch by Phil Salt too close to the boundary rope? This will remain a question.
An unhappy Heinrich Klaasen was seen arguing with the fourth umpire, who was just outside the boundary line. Some talks took place between the SRH batsman and the umpire. Klaasen had to go when the umpire signaled out.

Sunrisers Hyderabad were in deep trouble after losing three quick wickets inside the powerplay. Stand-in captain Ishan Kishan and Klaasen came to the rescue and in their combined effort, SRH established a much-needed partnership of 97 runs. The South African batsman scored 31 runs off 22, which included two fours and a six. West Indies fast bowling all-rounder Romario Shepherd gave important success to RCB captain Rajat Patidar in the match.
