Aamir is mostly known for his calm attitude even after taking wickets. But there was definitely something wrong between her and Ashraf. The batsman also lost his patience and turned his bat towards the bowler.
Since the players were in aggressive mode, other players on the field needed to intervene to defuse the situation. Two Rawalpindi fielders went straight to the batsman to catch him.

Aamir bowled brilliantly for Rawalpindi
Islamabad United, batting first, scored 137 runs for 10 wickets. Devon Conway was the top scorer for the team with 40 runs. Ashraf, who came at number 7, could score only 11 runs.
Mohammad Amir was impressive with the ball. He took a brace in his 4-over spell at an economy rate of 5.20. He was the most effective bowler of the Rawalpindi team.
Mohammad Amir said after the match, “As a bowler, when you perform well for the team, I am really happy and as a team we needed that. I think we bowled the best team of the tournament. Islamabad is a good team. But I am happy to do it. To be honest, it was a big relief because we were struggling.”
He added, “We lost some close games, but today in the meeting we talked about that, we need to finish on a high note, and I think we did well in the first half.”
Naseem Shah’s absence is being considered a big loss for the team. Due to injury, this fast bowler has been ruled out of the PSL 2026 season.
Aamir said about the injured fast bowler, “To be honest, as a player I feel sorry for him. It is always difficult to come back into the team when your team needs you as a senior player, but I guess you can say it is a tough fate. He is a good bowler and he got off to a good start, but you can say it is bad luck.”
Aamir hopes to win the match in Karachi
The pitch may not be ideal for the batsmen. But, since the target is not too big, Mohammad Amir is confident of achieving an important win against Islamabad United.
He concluded, “The wicket is a bit tricky, and we need to bat well, and we need two good partnerships, and hopefully we’ll chase that down.”
