On Friday, June 19, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the inclusion of young fast bowler Harshit Rana in the Indian ODI squad for the match against the Afghanistan national cricket team.
Issuing an official media release, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said that Harshit Rana has been included in the Indian squad for the third and final ODI of the series against the Afghanistan national cricket team in Chennai.
Harshit Rana completes his rehabilitation at BCCI Center of Excellence (COE)
BCCI also revealed that Rana has finally completed his rehabilitation program at the Center of Excellence (COE) and is fully ready for competitive cricket action.
“Update: Harshit Rana included in Indian squad for Chennai ODI. The men’s selection committee has included Mr Harshit Rana in the Indian squad for the third and final IDFC First Bank ODI against Afghanistan.
“Mr. Rana, who has completed his rehabilitation at the BCCI Center of Excellence (COE), has joined the ODI squad in Chennai,” the BCCI said.
