Harsha Bhogle has raised a serious issue on the social media platform ‘X’. He also mentioned Rajasthan Royals (RR) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to make the authorities aware about what is going on on social media platforms.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi caused pure carnage in the IPL 2026 season and ended up winning several trophies for his individual performances. Harsha Bhogle was present during the presentation ceremony after the IPL 2026 final in Ahmedabad.

Harsha Bogle detected a fake video

After the ceremony, Bhogle was announcing the names of the recipients in the match. He had to call Vaibhav Suryavanshi several times, as the 15-year-old had to accept several awards. The rising sensation from Bihar won titles like Most Valuable Player, Emerging Player of the Season, Super Striker of the Season, Orange Cap Winner and Super Sixer of the Season.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the final, Virat Kohli won the Player of the Match award, but Vaibhav Suryavanshi dominated the awards ceremony. For Rajasthan Royals, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 776 runs at an extraordinary strike rate of 237.30. During this, the left-handed opening batsman hit a record-breaking 72 sixes, which helped him break many records in the history of the Indian Premier League.

the words in the video are false

Meanwhile, while most cricket fans were praising Vaibhav’s extraordinary batting skills, some people on social media platforms shared false, misleading videos. One of the fake videos, allegedly created using Artificial Intelligence, caught the attention of Harsha Bhogle.

In the said video, viewers can see the young batsman and Bhogle talking in an unprofessional, rude manner, which is absolutely wrong. Nowadays, due to advanced technology, it has become very difficult to identify true stories and false stories.

Harsha Bhogle and Suryavanshi are the best two people in the world who can tell if it’s true because the words were engineered on their mouths. As soon as Bhogle saw the clip on his social media feed, he took up the topic and helped cricket fans stay away from it. He also caught the attention of BCCI and Rajasthan Royals through social media posts.

Bhogle revealed the truth as was Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the video

Bhogle directly claimed that the viral video is fake and dubbed. He clarified that neither he asked such indecent questions nor did Vaibhav Suryavanshi himself give harsh answers to them.

Harsha Bhogle said on her ‘X’ post on June 2, “A fake dubbed clip of me and Vaibhav Suryavanshi is doing the rounds on social media. It shows Vaibhav being rude and arrogant. Neither was that question asked nor was there any answer of that nature. This is cruel and mischievous, especially towards a small child who has been very respectful in some of his interactions.”

Cricket fans have shown their support towards cricket experts as a lot of fake videos and posts are being circulated on social media platforms.
