Indian spinner Harsh Dubey has received a call-up to the India men’s senior national cricket team and as a result, KKR star Anukul Roy has been called up to replace him in the India A squad in the upcoming IDFC First Bank tri-series.

India A is set to play a tri-series involving teams like Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A which will start from June 9 and end till June 21 in Dambulla, Sri Lanka.

There are many emerging talents in the game of cricket in India and Harsh Dubey is one such name. He played for India A on prior occasions and made headlines after his maiden half-century, which helped India A cross the finish line in the semi-finals of the Asia Cup.

Harsh, who plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the current season of IPL, impressed the BCCI selectors with his performances and was included in the India men’s senior squad for the upcoming series against Afghanistan.
As a result of his inclusion in India’s Test and ODI squads, KKR’s star spin-bowling all-rounder Anukul Roy has been named as his replacement for India A.
