Indian fans started shouting Virat Kohli’s name when Haris Rauf came to the field border during the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four match between India and Pakistan in Dubai. In response, Rauf indicated the controversial “6–0” hand, which quickly provoked reactions to social media platforms.

Virat Kohli killed Haris Rauf for two consecutive sixes in Melbourne during the 2022 T20 World Cup. Kohli played an extraordinary back-foot on the mid-off, leaving fans and experts in astonishment. He put one and six on the next delivery.

During the match, Indian fans repeatedly shouted Virat Kohli’s name, while Haris Rauf was fielding close to the border. Indian fans intentionally chanting “Kohli” to tease Rauf. Kohli was not part of the game, but his name resonated in the stadium as a taunt.

Rauf initially brushed his ear to indicate that he was surprised, but he later responded with controversial gestures, including a fighter-jet motion. Rauf was heard shouting “6–0”, adding more fuel to rivalry. The incident clip quickly went viral on social media, and Indian fans made fun of him for his gesture.

Rauf bowled four overs and took 2 wickets for 26 runs. However, men in Green lost the match by six wickets in Dubai on Sunday, 21 September. Rauf succeeded in giving a significant blow by rejecting Suryakumar Yadav, forcing him to leave the ground without connecting the score.

Under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, India chased a target of 172 runs with six wickets and seven balls in Dubai. Abhishek Sharma scored an extraordinary 74 off 39 balls, including six fours and five sixes. Shubman Gill scored 47 runs out of 28 balls, including eight fours.

Sharma and Gill added a 105 -run stand which placed the stage to chase. Tilak Verma scored 30 runs with 19 balls, while Hardik Pandya finished the match with 7*.

Haris Rauf exchanged hot words with Abhishek Sharma in the fifth over, when Gill hit a boundary. Umpire Gazi Sohail had to intervene in the situation. Sharma was named Player of the Match for his batting performance in Chase.

After the match, Abhishek Sharma expressed his displeasure over on-field excitement. The left -handed batsman said that he did not like unnecessary challenges from the opposition.

Abhishek said, “Today it was very simple. The way he was coming on us without any reason, I did not like it at all. So I went with my batting after him. I wanted to distribute to my team,” Abhishek said.

After this win, India will have a two -day break before their next match against Bangladesh in Dubai. On the other hand, Pakistan has only one day to recover before facing Sri Lanka, which also lost in its early Super Four Games.
