Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf has created a fresh controversy with his stimulating gestures during the loss of six wickets of his team in the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four match in Dubai on Sunday, 21 September. Haris Rauf forgot all the rules to silence the Indian mob in Dubai.
Indian fans found herself at the center of controversy after taunting Virat Kohli’s famous back-to-back six against him in the 2022 T20 World Cup.
Haris Rauf exposed a large-scale dispute against India in Asia Cup 2025 with “6-0” gesture
Disappointed with the consecutive mantras, the Pakistani fast bowler responded with a “6–0” hand gesture, referring to Pakistan’s rejected claim of shooting six Indian fighter jets during the Operation Sindhor conflict.

Even Rauf copied the aircraft gestures with the boundary line, as he reacted continuously with Indian fans during the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four Game on Sunday. Earlier, Sahibzada Farhan celebrated his fifty with a gun gesture, which only intensified the ongoing tension.
The gesture of Pakistani players already left Indian fans. Now, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif added fuel to the fire after the Super Four struggle of the Asia Cup 2025 between India and Pakistan by supporting Haris Rauf’s controversial Rafale-Downing gestures in Dubai.
Pakistan’s Defense Minister defended Haris Rauf’s gesture as political tension
In social media posts, Khwaja Asif praised Rauf’s actions, called it a strong response, and Pakistan’s six Indian fighters added their gestures to the controversial claim of shooting of Jates, including Rafales, during the Military Struggle after the Pahgam attack earlier this year.
Pakistan’s Defense Minister emphasized that cricket matches come and leave, but the “6-0” moment will be remembered by India and the world for a long time. His post intensified the controversy. However, Rauf does not yet react to his controversial gesture.

His comments provoked a political storm as Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj questioned the BCCI and ICC for organizing the match with Pakistan.
The political storm explodes after Haris Rauf’s “6-0” and Sahibzada Farhan’s AK -47 gesture
He said, “Why did we not be right then? In the India-Pakistan match, the Pakistani player is making fun of India in front of the whole world. He is making a gesture of shooting Indian jet.”
“Why were Pakistanis given such a world class platform? BJP’s curse on the central government. Playing 2-2 matches with Pakistan, they have told the whole world that everything is fine with Pakistan. And their such acts?”
On the other hand, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut slammed ICC President J Shah to allow India-Pakistan struggle.
He posted, x: “Sahibzada Farhan only proved on the field how Pakistani terrorists killed 26 innocents in Pahgam-it dropped down like them. It was nothing. It reached its fifty and batted like an AK-47, an AK-47, BCCI face to be bithair.
Sahibzada Farhan only proved on the field how Pakistani militants killed 26 innocents in Pahalgam – dropped them down as if it was nothing.
Reached his fifty and caught the bat like an AK-47, firing the boundaries!
