In a recent video posted on his social media handle by Hardik Pandya, he was seen celebrating the ICC T20 World Cup win on his anniversary.
India won the 2024 T20 World Cup on this day, a historic day in India’s ICC campaigns on 29 June, as they had won the ICC title after 11 years since the final trophy at the ICC Champions Trophy 2013.
Pandya clearly depicted his ambition as he mentioned his rise in 2011 by celebrating on the streets, who was an important player himself, who played a major role in shaping India’s return to the 2024 T20 World Cup final. He was very proud to do this for his team.
“Enjoyed always flourishing and staying in this position. It becomes best for me. I have always revealed me while bowling for the last time or killing me the last run of the World Cup winning game.”
“6-7-8 months, which I really had before that, in fact the way I was able to stand and perhaps was not showing a lot of feelings or how I am passing. It just came from shoulder pressure on such weight and I was finally as if I did for the country,” Hardik Pandya said in a video posted on his social media.
Hardik Pandya’s contribution to India’s final victory
Pandya has been India’s star all -rounder in the shortest format of the game. He has played in many crunch situations and has made significant contribution with bat and ball many times.
In the T20 World Cup, there was nothing in favor of India as India needed to protect 26 runs in the last four overs. Pandya returned with the 17th over, where he hit a ball outside the off-stump with a wicket of Heinrich Klassen.
Pandya came back with the 20th over of the game, where he dismissed David Miller with a brilliant grab from Suryakumar Yadav, which will be mentioned in the hearts of every Indian for the coming years.

A Dream T20 World Cup final, yet Hardik was ignored for India’s captaincy
Hardik finished the match for India, and ended with 3/20 figures. This was one of the most important contributions that won the match for India.
Despite such a great performance, Pandya, who was always in line to be the next T20I captain of India, was sidelined from the role after Rohit Sharma retired from the smallest format of the game.
However, citing the clarity of his injury, Hardik Pandya was not given the leadership duties as Suryakumar Yadav was liked a better option, and even Hardik Pandya considered the decision and moved to play under the Indian side.
This player was liked on Hardik Pandya for the POTM Award
Hardik Pandya scored 5 runs off 2 balls and was a pick of Indian bowlers with 3 wickets in the final. Despite his extraordinary efforts, he was not awarded the POTM Award.
Virat Kohli was a man of the match for his brilliant innings in the final after a very poor performance of the World Cup. Kohli’s innings undoubtedly played an important role in giving something to save the Indian bowlers, before the bowlers could complete the work for India.
