Big win for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He left no room for the home team, Mumbai Indians (MI), to make a comeback into the competition. RCB registered a big win against MI in all departments of the match at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday.

After an entertaining match at the Wankhede Stadium, RCB are now at the third position with 6 points and a net run rate of +1.148. Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings are at first and second position with 8 and 7 points respectively. And Mumbai Indians, after playing 4 matches in the 10-team league, have slipped to 8th place with 2 points and one negative.

Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya said at the post-match ceremony, “Yes and at the same time, I think we also gave away too many (runs). I think it was always going to be catch-up. I think in the last few games, as a bowling unit or even as a batting unit, we have been catching up in the game rather than taking the game forward.”
“We really need to reflect, really need to look at what we can do best and how can we get that pace and that click that we need. We have a few days off from here and we are out of the leg-stump game again. To be quite honest, a lot of things need to be reconsidered now. Obviously, it is not working”, said the Mumbai Indians captain.
