“Indian player is always a liquid situation that depends on who is retiring and who is available. I think it was like 13 or 14 Indian players in the auction,” Smith said in a virtual media interaction with Indian outlets.

Smith said that Indian cricketers are eligible for franchise league only like SA20, only once they retire from cricket in all forms and away from BCCI commitments.
