36 -year -old Australia National Cricket Team all -rounder Glenn Maxwell displayed an outstanding performance in the third and final T20I match against the South Africa National cricket team.
With the help of his excellent outing, Glenn Maxwell equaled David Warner’s two all-time records for the Australia National Cricket Team in T20I cricket.

Chasing a target of 173 in the chain decisive, Australia captain Mitchell Marsh exploded a wonderful fifty (54 runs 37), but the rest of the top and middle-order batsmen failed before Maxwell’s move.
Maxwell played an extraordinary innings and started an attack on the South African bowling unit without any fear. He did not focus his focus and stayed in the middle until the end to end his team for an epic victory.
Australia found itself in a difficult situation as he needed 10 runs in the last 6 balls, but thankfully Maxwell was in the middle. The equation eventually fell down by 4 runs by 3 balls.

Glenn Maxwell finished his innings with 8 fours and 2 sixes with an unbeaten score of 62 balls, and Big Show also dropped a stunner in the first innings to finish the explosive knock of Developed Brevis.
The performance helped Glenn Maxwell hold his 12th Player of the Match award for Australia in T20I, and he equaled all-time records for most players of David Warner’s Match Awards and the most catch for Australians in T20I.

Speaking after winning the Player of the Match Award, Glenn Maxwell said he tried to remain calm in the middle and said that the series win against South Africa would serve as a belief booster for him. He said:
“It was nervous-racking when we lost some wickets in a row. Corbin Bosch bowled a brilliant. To hold runs near 9 or 10, we were below for two wickets, I felt nice to take out the most part of the strike from the right side finally.
“Just tried to be on strike as much as possible. We have a great run with this T20 group. A quality is great for our confidence to win a more series against the South African team. We are really constructing something good in this group. It’s definitely a fun transformation room and I am enjoying every moment.”
