Gautam Gambhir facing heavy criticism
Head coach Gautam Gambhir has received large scale backlash for the poor performance of India National Cricket Team in Test cricket.

According to Abhishek Tripathi of Dainik Jagran, BCCI is not in any mood, whenever India loses the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 in a derogatory manner, Gambhir is still not in a mood to dismiss. The governing body will evaluate its performance in the long run, and he will also continue in the role in the next red-ball series.

In a video shared on his official YouTube channel after the end of the first day’s game at Old Trafford, Manchester, former India opener Akash Chopra questioned the selection of India’s squad.
Chopra said that the Test Squad in India is not a middle-order batsman and is forced to play all-rounders. He said:

However, if three all-rounders play from number 6 to number 8, you expect a lot of runs with the bat, but you do not have this assurance.
