Gautam Gambhir has reportedly become a subject of increasing concern among Indian cricketers. Not just the senior cricketers but some of the young talents of the Indian cricket team are also struggling to work with head coach Gautam Gambhir.

Top officials of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are also aware of the rising tension inside the dressing room. But the board is likely to keep its faith in the former Team India opener as the team continues to move towards bigger events.
Winning the T20 World Cup in 2026 and the Asia Cup in 2025 is strengthening Gambhir’s position. It cannot be denied that under his guidance the team has performed well in multi-nation tournaments in recent times despite changes in the squads across formats. The board can rely on Gautam Gambhir as long as his technique works effectively.
