On the last day, England needed only 35 runs to win, with four wickets in hand. But Mohammad Siraj and Prasad Krishna moved the match here and there. Sirj picked up three of the last four wickets to seal the game, finishing with five wickets in the second innings at the Oval.

Siraj was named Player of the Match, with nine wickets in the final test. He also completed the tour as a leading wicket -taker with 23 scale out of five tests against England. The way boys have fought. I have always been a great believer that you should always get what you want, and I think people don’t want it.”

On the other hand, Shubman Gill was filled with joy after pulling the test series. As captain, he loved seeing everyone contributing. He was also happy with his own batting and the way the series came out. In particular, Gill was a major run scorer with 754 runs in 10 innings.
Gill said, “I am feeling very ecstatic and high right now and is very happy with the way everyone has performed. The way everyone has contributed to the whole series. Different people step into different moments. This is what you want as a captain, and I am very happy with the way you have performed as a captain, and I am very happy with that.”
